There are many different grades of quality in sugared almonds - the thicker the coating of sugar used (the cheaper of the two main ingredients) the lesser number of almonds are needed to make up a kilogram box. Our almonds are peeled to remove the bitter husk halved and coated with a thin layer of sugar paste giving more sugared almonds per Kilogram box.

Each kilo box contains about 230-250 almonds & - (using five per favour) will fill about 46-50 favours.
